This package is for more established nonprofits who are new to grant funding and want to boost their chances at being awarded grant funds. This package does not include research grant opportunities or writing grant proposals.
We will do a deep dive on both the practical and theoretical aspects to your organization’s grant-readiness, including:
Review of mission, vision, and values
Evaluate the extent to which the community need(s) are sufficiently documented
Evaluate whether your strategies for addressing the need(s) are based in evidence-based practices and the extent to which you are innovating within this framework
Review existing policies & procedures, particularly those related to tracking progress on grant objectives and expenditures
60-Minute Biweekly Call with Jessica: We’ll spend the first 15 minutes or so on updates, and then you have the remaining time to pick my brain! Feel free to invite other leaders to these calls.
Assess Board composition and governance practices (e.g., having conflict of interest policies)
And more! After all of this assessment, you’ll walk away with a custom roadmap with specific action items you can take over the coming months to prepare for grant funding.
