I'm not your typical grant professional—and that's exactly why you should work with me. With a background in nonprofit leadership, public health, and strategic planning, I bring real-world experience and passion to every project.

With a master’s degrees in both public health and strategic leadership and have had more than 15 years’ experience in the nonprofit sector prior to entering the consulting field. I work exclusively with nonprofits in the US.

My experience in the nonprofit sector is ongoing and includes:

• Co-chairing a regional arm of a CDC-funded statewide cancer coalition

• Managing grant-funded projects in the public health field

• Evaluating a federally-funded grant program serving individuals with co-occurring mental health/substance use disorders

• Overseeing a community grant funding program at a nonprofit grantmaking organization

• Training grant reviewers to score applications against specific criteria

• Serving on nonprofit boards

• Delivering grant writing trainings for nonprofits and graduate students

• Coaching boards on leadership fundamentals

• And, of course, applying for funding!

I live in Knoxville, TN (USA) with my husband and 4 rescue dogs.
