Why choose us?

I’m not a grant writer.

Yes, you heard that right. I’m not a grant writer, but I do develop and write winning grant proposals.

You see, I’m so much more than just a grant writer.

I have master’s degrees in both strategic leadership and public health. More importantly, however, I spent more than 15 years as a nonprofit leader and am now in the 9th year of my public health career.

I’ve led teams and organizations. I’ve served as a nonprofit board member. I’ve co-chaired a federally-funded, locally-implemented health coalition. I’ve managed and evaluated grant funded programs, and I worked for years as a grant funder as well.

In addition, my colleagues are well-versed in project management, storytelling, persuasive writing, prospect research, communications/marketing, and operational support.

So, why choose us? Because we work with you to develop a comprehensive strategic approach to grant funding before we ever write a single word of your proposal.

We also increase your capacity for growth by serving as an extension of your organization’s leadership and staff. Our program implementation and evaluation experience allows us to provide guidance based on real-life wisdom.

For $75/hour, you can significantly expand your fundraising efforts at a fraction of the cost of a full-time employee.

Prospect Research

We have memberships to the top databases for nonprofit funding opportunities. We’ll research and compile well-suited opportunities from foundations, the federal government, and state and local governments, as appropriate.

You’ll receive a master grant proposal including sections on the organizational background, statement of need, program design, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, sustainability, and budget. While this serves as a starting point for many future grant applications, every application submitted will be tailored to that individual funder’s mission, priorities, guidelines, and criteria.

Assistance with Reporting

When you receive grant funding, the funder often requests interim and final reports on the outputs and outcomes of your grant-funded activities. Even if the funder does not require this, we recommend providing the funder a final report for every award you receive. We can help you set up the tracking systems you’ll need throughout the implementation period, as well as analyze and report the data.

Coaching on Funder Relationships

A large part of success in grant funding is a direct result of building collaborative, meaningful relationships with foundations. We will prepare you with goals, materials, talking points, and feedback to help as you form these relationships.
